I have an identical humidifier from Kaz that we like a lot. I should
have known the price wouldn't be as low for the same unit. It really is
a PERSONAL humidifier. It's quiet, it's effective but it should only
be used in a very small room. Fortunately we were able to swap the
larger one into the master bedroom and this personal size works fine for
a 10x10 room. As with its larger version, the mist is pretty intense
and creates a damp carpet from the mist projection - and that's on the
lowest setting. We use it to offset the winter's dry air and really
like the lack of mold-growing filters and the fact that it's extremely
quiet. Compared to the standard cold-mist humidifier with a filter
system, this is a much better alternative.
